Google Places app for iOS has recently received a major update in the App Store that not only brings new features to the app, but also brings a new name. Google Places is now called Google+ Local and has all the features found previously in the app. With Google+ Local app users can see reviews of places by their friends, check out new places with Zagat’s summaries of places and even write reviews of places they have recently visited. Google has also added Voice Search feature to Google+ Local app that allows users to search with their voice. This update also adds a new user-interface for users to search for new places.
