Rovio has announced the next major update for it’s immesnsly popular Angry Birds Space game for iOS devices that will be released in the App Store this fall. The update as seen in the video is called Red Planet, and seems to be based in planet Mars. No other details have been revealed yet, and we still don’t know exactly when this update will hit the App Store. What we know is Red Planet will be a free update to existing Angry Birds Space game that is available in the App Store for $0.99 for iPhone and $2.99 for iPad.
Rovio had partnered with NASA for the release of Angry Birds Space, and it seems like this Red Planet update is well timed with Mars Curiosity rover project which is set to land on planet Mars this Sunday. [via: iDownloadBlog]
