There are many aspects of iOS notifications that users don’t like, auto dismissal being one of them. Now Sticky Icky tweak for jailbroken iPhone and iPod touch aims to solve that problem by modifying the way notifications get dismissed. Push notifications are supported by more or less every iOS app. In iOS 6 or earlier the banner notifications appear for a brief period of time after which they disappear. This behavior is not liked by some people especially those who don’t check the notification center regularly. However this can be changed by Sticky Icky tweak. This Cydia tweak can make remarkable changes the way banner notifications work and allows users to manually dismiss a notification after it appears.

The Sticky Icky tweak is not for everyone though as many people might get annoyed by stickiness of banners. It is ideal for those who are not bothered by notifications even when they are playing game or watching a movie on their iOS device.

After the installation of Sticky Icky tweak, whenever the notification banner will appear on iPhone it will be accompanied by a ‘x’ button. It is located at the right hand corner whereas the overall banner looks the same. Sticky Icky tweak makes the banner available for you on the screen until you dismiss it yourself.

Sticky Icky makes the pinned banners importunate that you can view them whenever you enter from lock screen to the SpringBoard. Here the notification comes back instantly.

Sticky Icky is compatible with all the iOS Devices that are running iOS 5 or above. It is available for free at ModMyi repo of Cydia.
