15.5-inch MacBook Air Launch Expected in 2023 Spring

Over the past year, there have been a few speculations that Apple is preparing a new 15-inch MacBook Air to compete with the current 13-inch model. According to respected analyst Ross Young, panel production for the latest 15-inch MacBook Air would start in the first quarter of next year, indicating that the device could debut in the spring.

Bloomberg and Young have both previously speculated on the potential existence of a 15-inch MacBook Air. Particularly Bloomberg had earlier hinted at a launch possibility for 2019’s spring. Young’s most recent forecast, which predicts that panel production will start in Q1, fits with the idea of a release in spring.

Analysis And Announcement Of New MacBook Air’s Sizes

According to a more detailed claim from Young published today, the new MacBook Air will have a display of 15.5 inches. This indicates that Apple will offer two sizes of Air, 13.6 and 15.5 inches. The MacBook Air was previously available in 11 and 13 inches, two distinct screen sizes, but the company finally streamlined the portfolio and eliminated the smaller model.

As per a June Bloomberg report, Apple is reportedly working on a 12-inch Mac in addition to the larger-screened Air. But the introduction of this device is not expected to happen until late 2023 or early 2024. It is consistent with Apple’s policy to offer the Air in two distinct screen sizes, both of which come in 14 and 16-inch form factors. With Apple Silicon being introduced, it has been simpler for the firm to extend its MacBook lineup. From what we know of the speculations made, that is exactly what is occurring.
