Apple releases iOS 5.0.1 beta 2 to registered developers

Looks like Apple is committed to fix the issues faced by many users in iOS 5 and iPhone 4S. That’s why they are rapidly releasing iOS 5.0.1 betas to developers. After releasing iOS 5.0.1 to registered devs just two days ago, Apple has released the second beta to developers, and it is now available for download in the Dev Center. The build number for this release is 9A404.

iOS 5.0.1 brings following changes.

iOS 5.0.1 beta contains improvements and other bug fixes including:
– Fixes bugs affecting battery life
– Adds Multitasking Gestures for original iPad
– Resolves bugs with Documents in the Cloud
– Improves voice recognition for Australian users using dictation
– Contains security improvements

iOS 5.0.1 beta introduces a new way for developers to specify files that should remain on device, even in low storage situations.

Registered devs can download iOS 5.0.1 beta 2 by signing into there Developer account. The update is also available OTA.
