AIM Messenger for iOS devices has just received a major update that brings a new look to the app and has added several new features. The app has been redesigned from ground up and now features much better and richer user experience as far as visual graphics of the app are concerned. New features such as party, better sharing options, offline messages and others have been added to the app in this update.
The new feature that has been added to this IM app allows users to read messages from their contacts even if they were sent when they were offline. So now you will be able to receive messages while you are offline and read them whenever you want.
Another feature called Party allows users to group chat with their friends or co-workers right on their iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. The sharing options of the app have also been enhanced and now users can share photos and location without leaving the ongoing conversation.
Other new feature that have been added to AIM Messenger are:
- Copy and paste messages
- Set quiet hours to mute sounds and push notifications for when you don’t want to be disturbed
- Change your incoming message sounds
- See your social notifications for activity on your AIM, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts
