Infinity Blade II gets updated to fix issues with older iDevices?

Popular iOS game Infinity Blade II has received a minor update which is now available in the App Store. The game was released a few days ago after which several users specifically with older iOS devices complained that the game does not work on their devices and crashes. We  ourselves downloaded the game on iPod touch 4th generation and found out the game to be crashing every time we launched it. Original iPad users have also complained about similar problems with the game.

When Chair Entertainment was approached about this issue they responded as

“We’ve discovered an issue with some users who are running Infinity Blade II on iPad 1 and iPod touch devices. We are working to have a fix for this issue ASAP.”

It is unclear at the moment if this update fixes the issue for iPod touch and iPad 1 or not. The iTunes change log says that this update brings “Balance tweaks, optimizations, and bug fixes.” If you have purchased Infinity Blade II then update your game to check if it is fixed or not. We will let you know as soon as we could confirm whether this update fixes the issue or not. Stay tuned
