Cydia tweak developer Ryan Petrich is back with yet another tweak that you might be interested in downloading on your jailbroken iOS device. This upcoming tweak by him is called Cydia Bulletin. When installed it allows your iOS device to display a notification in the Notification Center when an update arrives for a Cydia tweak or an application downloaded from the Cydia Store. Normally the notifications for available updates are shown on the ‘Changes’ page but this tweak brings them to your Notification Center.
It is very useful if you have many tweaks installed on your device and want them to stay up-to-date with the latest version.
A similar tweak for app updates from the App Store will be equally useful – we hope to see that coming to the Cydia Store in the future, too. Ryan Petrich has not specified any ETA for this tweak, we will update you when it becomes available in the Cydia Store.
