A new Cydia tweak called Forecast has become available in Cydia that adds a fully functional weather widget on iPhone or iPod touch’s lock screen. Forecast adds weather info to lock screen at the place where date and time appears. A good thing about this tweak is that instead of replacing the clock, it puts it aside and displays the weather on the other side. To view detailed weather report, users can simply swipe towards right to reveal forecast for the whole week.
There is a small refresh button at the bottom right of the widget that allows users to refresh and bring the updated forecast for their area. Forecast takes it’s data from iPhone’s stock weather app, so if you have more than one city added in the weather app, simply put the one you want to show on the lock screen at the top of the list.
Forecast is available in Cydia for $0.99 under ModMyi repo.
