Apple releases iOS 6 beta 3 to developers. Now available for download

After three weeks of wait and a lot of predictions, Apple has finally released iOS 6 beta 3 to registered developers and it is now available for download. Apple has also updated the Dev Center so the update is available both over-the-air and from the dev center. It is unknown at this point of time whether Apple has added any new features in this update, or it only brings bug fixes to the operating system that is only available in beta at the moment.

OTA download sizes for iPhone 4S and iPad 3rd generation are 323MB and 424MB respectively. The release note for this release are not available yet, we will post them as soon as Apple updates their developer site.

iOS hacker iH8snow confirms that iOS beta 3 will expire of September 30, 2012.

 

The final version of iOS 6 will be released in the fall alongside the new iPhone. It will run on iPad 2, the new iPad, iPhone 3GS iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, and iPod touch 4th Generation.
