Gameloft’s Batman game named The Dark Knight Rises is now available in the App Store for download. The Dark Knight Rises iOS by Gameloft is the official game for the movie by Christopher Nolan, that was released in theaters today, too. In the game user’s can of course play as Batman and complete missions to save the Gotham City from evil. The iOS game follows the story line and features characters that are inspired by the original movie. There are dozens of missions to play and random events that will make the game even more realistic. The graphics as we have already seen in the trailers are gorgeous, and they are retina display enabled too.
The story for the game is as follows:
After being gone for eight years, Bruce Wayne gets back into action as Batman. Waiting for him are the mysterious Selina Kyle, and Bane, a lethal adversary on a crusade to tear apart Batman’s legacy piece by piece.
Meet all of Batman’s allies and regain your strength to protect Gotham City from Bane.
Become completely immersed in the story thanks to likenesses of all the movie’s main characters like Catwoman, Lucius Fox and Commissioner Gordon.
In the game users have full access to Batman’s arsenal including Grapnel, batarang and more. Users will also be able to drive the ‘Bat-Pod’ for special missions and even pilot The Bat to get around the city.
