Apple has announced the new iPod touch 5th Generation and just like the iPhone 5, it’s awesome! The new iPod touch features a 4-inch display with a a resolution of 1136×640 pixels. It is powered by a Dual-Core A5 chip and most likely features 512MB RAM. The camera Apple has added on this new device is a 5-megapixel iSight camera with autofocus and flash which is capable of recording 1080p videos. The front camera on the device features a HD lens that allows users to Facetime in HD and record 720p video. The device comes with new smaller connector and just like the iPhone 5 has a 9-pin lightning cable. iPod touch 5th generation has a mind blowing 6.6mm depth making it a lot more thinner than the previous model.
Apple has added a new accessory for iPod touch called the loop, which makes it easier for users to carry around the device. The loop can be easily attached and detached from the device. As expected Apple has added Siri to the new iPod touch giving it a personal assistant of it’s own. iPod touch 5th generation also includes the new EarPods headphone that have been redesigned from ground up.
The new 5th generation iPod touch is available in five different colors including yellow, white, black, pink, and blue. The 32GB iPod touch is priced at $299 and 64GB model is priced at $399. It is now available for purchase on Apple’s website.
