In case you have been living under a rock for past few weeks and don’t know, today is Apple’s media event in which it is expected to announce new products including the iPad mini. Contrary to previous events Apple is going to live stream the whole event on Apple TV as it has added a new app called ‘Apple Events’ to homescreens Apple TVs. The event will start at 10.00 a.m. (Pacific) and so will the live stream. It is unclear at this point whether Apple will only live stream the event on Apple TV or Mac and iOS users will also be able witness the event live on their device. We will update you more on this one as more details are available to share.
Update: Apple will also live stream today’s iPad mini event on its website here.
Here’s how the Apple Special Event page looks like on Apple TV (via MacStories).
