Recently released in Cydia, AppCent tweak for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch adds a really nice feature to iOS. The tweak shows the progress of an App Store app download in percentage allowing users to know how much data is left to be downloaded. The tweak is fully compatible with iOS 6.1 and worked fine in our test.
AppCent tweak brings a really nice addition to iOS, which I personally think should have been part of the OS by default as it makes it more convenient to follow the progress of the current download. The tweak does not replaces the usual progress bar that appears when we download an app from the App Store however it removes the app’s name from bottom of the app icon and adds percentage of the downloaded data.
AppCent tweak works for both app downloads and app update downloads. There are no settings to configure but you can disable the tweak by going into the Settings.app.
AppCent tweak for iOS is available in Cydia for free under the ModMyi repository.
