This year rumors suggest that Apple will release three separate model of its smartphone including a budget iPhone to compete for emerging market, iPhone 5S (upgrade to current model) and a big screen 4.9-inch iPhone 6.
Now reports emerging from Apple’s Chinese suppliers say that a device with looks similar to iPhone 5 and another device dubbed as iPhone 6 with 4.9-inch display have been located in a major Apple’s supplier factories.
BrightWire has translated a report from Laoyaoba.com, which is a Chinese mobile site that revealed this info:
A source told Chinese mobile phone information site Laoyaoba.com that he has seen the iPhone 5S and iPhone 6 at Apple’s suppliers. Both models may be released in 2013, according to the website’s microblog on Thursday evening. The source noted that the iPhone 5S resembles the iPhone 5, and the five-inch iPhone 6 is lighter and thinner.
Rumors like these are not credible however they are interesting indeed. Also its important to note that it is the fourth report this year claiming Apple would release a larger iPhone. Although reports about iPhone with a larger screen are not confirmed by any means people have started discussing the fact that how Apple will bring out larger iPhone without fragmenting iOS – like Android. Fragmentation means more work for developers and support issues.
