Apple releases iOS 6.1.3 beta 2 to developers, fixes the lock screen issue

Apple has recently released its iOS 6.1.3 beta 2 for supported iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. iOS 6.1.1 beta 1 was the first beta, however it has been given a  new name as iOS 6.1.3 due the latest release of iOS that mainly brought bug fixes. As reported the iOS 6.1.3 has many enhancements to the Maps application for Japan. Apple has also fixed the lockscreen bug in this beta that allowed unauthorized access to some parts of iPhone even when locked in this release.

No doubt the company has speeded up the iOS update releases, as it released iOS 6.1 just three weeks ago. Apple released iOS 6.1.1 for iPhone 4S to resolve the 3G connectivity problem and iOS 6.1.2 to fix the Exchange bug.

iOS 6.1.3 beta 2 is available at iOS Dev Centre for download to registered developers.
