Apple might kill Evasi0n jailbreak in the upcoming iOS 6.1.3 update

After a month of the release of Evasi0n jailbreak for iOS 6 and above now it seems like the upcoming iOS 6.1.3 update will fix the vulnerabilities used for Evasion jailbreak. This info was revealed by Evad3rs team member Planetbeing who along with other members of the team worked on and released the Evasi0n tool that allowed users to untethered jailbreak iOS 6.x. The hacker has revealed to Forbes that Apple has fixed a major exploit (out of five) that was used by evasion to achieve the jailbreak.

This is not the first time Apple has fixed a vulnerability in iOS and blocked the jailbreak available to public. Recently Apple published a notification for users to stay away from jailbreak tools like evasi0n and warned them about hacking the iOS system.

PlanetBeing says that as the Evasi0n jailbreak for iOS 6 relies on 5 vulnerabilities  even if Apple fixes one of the vulnerabilities then the jailbreak solution will stop working. He has however hinted that they can replace the fixed vulnerabilities with other ones that haven’t been used yet.

Now let’s see whether the iOS 6.1.3 will be the final nail in coffin or not. Nothing can be said with surety as yet. Also it is worth mentioning here that if you like to jailbreak your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch and it is already jailbroken on iOS 6.x then simply stay away from iOS 6.1.3 update.
