Spotify for iOS has been launched in the App Store to bring a redesigned interface and much needed bug fixes. It has been redesigned to give users a new experience. The update also includes a number of other changes, which means now you will use the app in a slightly different manner.
In Spotify for iOS in the first glance, you will note difference in its interface. Its outlook has become lustrous and thanks to the addition of a new sidebar it has become easier to navigate in the app. You can reveal the navigation drawer by swiping left to right just like you can do in apps like Facebook and Sparrow.
The Spotify 0.6.0 update also brings “now playing bar”. By virtue of this bar, you can always keep yourself updated with what you are listening to. To change the track, you can simply swipe along the bar. If you wish to see more information about the track, press or drag on the ‘now playing bar’. For using AirPlay, press the cover art present in the extended view, and repeat, disable/enable shuffle for respective purposes.
Apart from making the interface changes Spotify for iOS app 0.6.0 version also brings several bug fixes including a fix for ”Track only available online” issues, fix for lock screen issue that caused wrong track to appear on iPhone’s lockscreen, and a fix for Shuffle.
