If you make app purchases or subscriptions on the App Store, Apple can refund your money, as long as certain requirements are met and if you take certain actions. Request a refund from Apple
Everything to do with returns and refunds at Apple is done through the Report a problem web page. This page is used to notify, manage and process incidents with Apple digital products. Specifically, those that affect purchases of applications (paid) and subscriptions (whether from Apple itself or from third parties).
To request the refund, and thus have the possibility of Apple returning the full amount of what you have paid, we must log in to the aforementioned website. When we are inside the web page, we will see a list with options of the problem that we want to report, and a list of our last downloaded / purchased applications. To request a refund, we choose the first option “Request a refund” and then you have to express the reason. If it is an error and we did not want to buy the app, if it is a mistake and you have downloaded an app that was not, etc.
Press the next button and select the application in question that we want to return. Once we have done it, a process will be opened, in which Apple will take a maximum of 48 hours to respond. Returns will not be immediate. In addition, we recommend that, if you have already downloaded the application and it is on your iPhone, you do not open it just in case (especially if you have bought an application when you really wanted to buy another).
Use the procedure carefully
Of course, keep in mind that if you request a refund for any content and it is granted, you will lose access to whatever we have downloaded. Therefore, unless it is an error or a mistake, We do not recommend that you go buying and returning apps “like crazy”. Also, keep in mind that you can only request a refund within the first 14 days of purchasing the app.
Once your incident has been processed, you will receive an email in which you will be informed that you have requested a refund and that it has already been processed. We insist, the returns are not at the moment, so it is necessary to wait for the response from Apple. When they have reached “a verdict” on the return of your money, you will be informed by email. As well as, you can see the result through the same web page that we mentioned at the beginning. Remember that this procedure is also valid for subscriptions.
