Apple has rolled out their iOS 15.4 betas, one week after releasing the third beta to developers. They also have a new beta of iPadOS 15.4.
Let us look at the details of all these latest releases from Apple.
iOS 15.4 Beta 4 Is Currently Available
The latest release of iOS 15.4 beta 4 is available to the developers via the over-the-air update in the Settings app. If the update does not appear automatically for you to download, keep on checking as it takes a few minutes to roll out to all the registered developers.
The build number of beta 4 is 19E5235a.
The iOS 15.4 includes new features for iPad and iPhone users. For iPhone users, FaceID is being made available while wearing masks for the first time. iPadOS 15.4 also included the highly-awaited Universal Control feature. You can also choose from over 30 new emojis, view certain changes to iCloud Keychain, and much more.
Last week’s release of beta 3 included some small tweaks to these new features as well as changes to Emergency SOS, Apple Podcasts, and Universal Control. Here’s our full hands-on with all of the details.
iOS 15.4 is expected to be released sometime in mid-March. Bloomberg recently reported that Apple is currently targeting a release sometime in the first half of March. This lines up with reports that Apple is planning to hold a virtual event on March 8.
