Apple iOS 17 Details Leaked

The impending iOS 17 operating system upgrade has also been created by Cupertino experts. There have been a few outliers, despite the fact that iOS version upgrades seldom leak before a public announcement. And it seems that one of them is this year’s anticipated release. Apple released iOS 16 to the general public in late 2022. Since then, it has been working on small 16.x versions to fix any remaining flaws and add some of the supposedly absent functionality.

Apple iOS 17 Will Be Released In Late 2023

According to a post on HowToiSolve by LeaksApplePro, iOS 17 (codenamed Dawn) may not have many cosmetic changes. This was completely anticipated because prior reports suggested that Apple has reallocated part of its resources to concentrate on the mixed-reality headset. However, the leaker has just released some new details :

If the details are accurate, the significant iPhone OS update in 2023 may bring about noticeable changes to the Music app, particularly with regard to in-app navigation.

Putting aside Music, the leaker also claims that there will be a significant update to the Home app. Along with that, the Find My, Mail, Reminders, Files, Fitness, and Wallet applications also received minor updates. Unsurprisingly, iOS 17 may also feature a brand-new app to help the alleged AR/VR headset. Despite the leak’s lack of specifics, we may infer that this app is used to modify the headset’s settings and personalize its experience.

In addition to these capabilities that are available on all iOS 17 devices, this operating system’s code may have exposed some details about the future iPhone 15 series. If the report is correct, Dynamic Island and USB Type-C will be found on every iPhone 15 model. Only the 15 Pro and 15 Ultra, two of the iPhone 15 versions, seem to enable the speedier USB 3.2 transfer rates, though. Therefore, the less expensive iPhone 15 models might adopt a USB-C connector without benefiting from the performance upgrades.
