Apple has released an update for iPhone and iPad. This is iOS version 16.1.1 and iPadOS 16.1.1 with bug fixes and performance improvements. It is true that we cannot determine exactly what kinds of improvements or corrections it has released, because the company has not detailed them. Although we know that some users with iOS 16 and iPadOS 16, were having some problems with Wi-Fi management and it is assumed that with this new version they should have been solved.

iOS 16.1.1 and iPadOS 16.1.1 are considered minor updates, but basically they are the ones that gradually improve operating systems. They may not have the same impact that iOS 16 had, for example, because this version brought numerous improvements to the devices. However, they are updates that fix bugs and improve performance of the devices and that makes everything go more smoothly. Without these updates, the improvements introduced would be of little use to us if they did not work.

That happened to some users with Wifi management in iOS 16.1, it seems that many of them were randomly disconnected. It was not able to connect to the favorite networks and the quality of the signal was very low to the point of not finding the router and therefore not being able to use the signal to navigate. It seems that iOS 16.1.1 and iPadOS 16.1.1 come to solve these problems. But as we said at the beginning, we will have to wait for users to leave their opinions, because the company has not provided a statement with performance improvements or bug fixes.

If the update does not skip automatically, you can request it manually. To do this, go to settings>general>update and click until the new version comes out. It will most likely take a while to download and then install, but soon you will be able to enjoy a new operating system that will make your devices work better.
