A new upgrade to the Home Widget app expands on an already popular app by allowing users to add their HomeKit cameras and more on their Home screen.
The most recent version adds additional functionality for Apple’s HomeKit cameras. By pressing one widget, you may now watch a live stream or a snapshot preview of your cameras.
Home Widget now supports colorful lights as well as power level indications for things like sensors, in addition to the new camera functionality. And there’s more to come!
Home Widget Adds More Controls For Cameras, Lights, And More
Here’s a short breakdown of some of the more significant changes in Home Widget ver 1.2.0:
Support for the HomeKit Cameras: You may now obtain a live feed or a photo still of all of your cameras by just hitting a button in your widgets.
Support for light color: The last update added dimmers; now you can go much farther by modifying not only the brightness level but also the color of the light directly from your Home Screen.
Battery level sensors: The newly available sensors may now be used to check the battery levels of your device.
Temperature sensor controls: Use temperature sensors in your thermostats, valves, and air-conditioner controls to monitor temperature throughout your house.
Panel background: Each panel on your Home Screen may now be customized with color gradients, solid colors, and unique photos, all with transparency and a blur effect.
All of this and more can be found on the App Store right now. Those who already have Home Widget installed can update it using the standard procedure. Everyone else may re-download the app for free and make in-app purchases.
