How do I know what my Apple ID is? This is a recurring question, both for people who have just started in the Apple ecosystem, and if they have been in it for a while, and do not fully understand how it works. That is why in this article we are going to solve this doubt for you, teaching you how to know what your Apple ID is, by knowing the process over different days.
If you are doing it from an Apple device, if you ask yourself “what is my Apple ID?” In this post we are going to show you how you can recognize it, in very few steps, and in very simple ways.
Know what my Apple ID is with an iPhone, iPad or Mac
In this first section we are going to teach you how to recognize the Apple ID through a brand product. To do this, first of all we are going to show you how you can do it using an iPhone. To do this, the first thing you will have to do is go to Settings. In the upper section of the menu, we will see our name, at the top, and along with our profile photo.
We will have to click on this first option, in which a contextual menu will open. The first thing we are going to see is our profile photo a little larger than in the main settings menu. Below this, we will see our username and an email address. That address that appears is our Apple ID.
In the event that you want to know your Apple ID through an iPad, the process will be exactly the same, only in this case the context menu will appear open next to a side menu bar, which will be all the set of options that we have available through the Settings app.
If you have a Mac and are wondering “what is my Apple ID?” and you want to know it, the first thing you will have to do is open the System Settings application. In this case, we will have to look at the sidebar on the left, in which you will have to look at the first option of all, which is our username along with our profile photo. We have to click on it.
Once again, our profile photo will appear large, along with our name at the bottom of it. Below these two pieces of information, we will see an email address, which is our Apple ID. If we look at it on our Apple devices, and in all cases we see that we have the same email address, in this case we will have the same Apple ID linked on all devices. If we look at different email addresses, then we will have different Apple IDs on each of our Apple devices.
