At its September 7 event, Apple is anticipated to unveil four new iPhone 14 models, including a conventional 6.7-inch variant that has been dubbed the “14 Max” in publications. The device might wind up with a different name. The information was leaked by a Twitter user who purportedly posted pictures of the Clear Case with MagSafe packaging for Apple. Instead of the 14 Max name, the package features the name 14 Plus, according to MacRumors.
Apple May Release iPhone 14 Max In September
“A picture like this is readily photo-shopped, but even if the leak is false, the name 14 Plus is still a possibility. “The moniker “14 Plus” could serve to separate the gadget from the 14 Pro Max and make it obvious that, although having a huge 6.7-inch display, the device is not a maxed-out model in terms of specs,” MacRumors continued.
For the iPhone 8 Plus in 2017, Apple last used the Plus name. Since that time, Apple has designated its largest iPhones with the Max label. These include the iPhone XS Max, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. It is still possible to argue in favor of the 14 Max name because it would ensure some consistency if Apple sold both the 14 and 14, Max, alongside the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max.
The 14 Pro will cost $1,099, according to a MacRumors leak, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max will cost $1,199. However, due to higher component costs and Apple’s need to differentiate Pro from non-Pro iPhones, the prices of the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will climb to $1099 and $1199, respectively. Beginning on September 9, the iPhone 14 Series will be available for pre-order. The report also stated that this series will begin to be sold on September 16.
