As far as upgrades go, the iPhone 15 Pro is set to be one of the most significant. The most important change is set to be a brand new casing made of titanium, also featuring rounder edges in its design. The rounder edges might be subtle but they should still be noticeable since there have been a considerable amount of complaints about the present sharp edges that the iPhones have.
iPhone 15 Pro’s Cameras And Other Additions
The iPhone 15 Pro’s camera size is also set to see a considerable increase. Let alone the thicker bump for the camera module, the lenses will now protrude making for the most noticeable change. CAD files indicate the protrusion of an individual lens has increased more than twice that of the already enormous cameras of the iPhone 14 Pro.
However, CAD files also indicate that the camera protrusion of the Max variant is smaller in size. One possible reason behind it is the periscope camera – a rumored exclusive addition to the bigger Pro Max variant. Of course, general improvement in camera quality between generations is a certainty and the iPhone 15 Pro should not be an exception. Rumors claim that it will feature a new technology in its sensors that will detect more light while reducing underexposure or overexposure in specific settings.
All iPhone 15 models, including the iPhone 15 Pro, are expected to have USB-C support. According to some leaked images of prototype devices, the port for the USB-C is uniquely surrounded by ribbed metal. As per usual Apple specifications, the charging will be fastest only when Apple-certified USB-C cables are used. Additionally, the iPhone 15 Pro will replace the mute switch and buttons with solid-state mute and haptic buttons. Two haptic engines are set to replace the buttons.
