iPhone 15 Pro Will Have 8 GB RAM

The iPhone 15 Pro will not be available until the end of the year, but the international supply chain already has much to say. TrendForce, a Taiwanese supply chain monitoring organization, alleges that Apple has increased its RAM order for the iPhone 15 Pro.

TrendForce reports in its most recent newsletter that Apple would “increase the capacity and specs of the DRAM solutions featured in the iPhone’s next generation, which is expected to be released this year.” That follows a previous prediction from TrendForce in October, which stated that Apple will include a “memory capacity boost” to the upcoming iPhone, raising the Pro model’s RAM from 6 GB to 8 GB. The iPhone’s storage capacity will likely remain at 6GB.

iPhone 15 Pro Will Be Faster Than Ever

iPhones have utilized less memory than competing Android handsets. It is odd, given that the Bionic processor frequently outperforms Android smartphones on Gizmodo’s internal test charts. It is now quicker than Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000, and Google’s Tensor G2, all of which have 8GB to 12GB of RAM.

We have some information on the iPhone 15 that will be released later this year. According to estimates, Apple will comply with the switchover beginning with the iPhone 15—especially considering its compliance date is 2024. On the gadget, there may be solid-state buttons that function as little trackpads. Apple will use its Taptic Engines to provide haptic feedback when buttons are pressed. Similar to how it markets the Apple Watch Ultra, Apple may likewise sell an “ultra” model of the iPhone to attract tough consumers.
