It was recently claimed that Apple had discontinued the iPhone SE. Now, a fresh web source has appeared outlining the iPhone SE 4’s expected launch information.
According to a MacRumors story, Apple could release the iPhone SE 4 in 2025 with a specially created 5G modem. According to the report, which quotes analyst Jeff Pu, the forthcoming iPhone SE 4 may include the Apple 5G modem, which will be produced by TSMC. According to the rumor, the tech giant may release the iPhone SE 4 in 2025.
iPhone SE 4 Will Have New Updates
Although Qualcomm would have been very relieved by the cancellation, Apple seems ready for the change, with the iPhone SE 4 probably serving as the starting point.
The 4nm manufacturing node, which will be similar to the 5nm, will be used to manufacture Apple’s 5G baseband chip. There is a catch, though. Only the sub-6GHz network will be supported by the 5G modem included inside the iPhone SE 4.
In March 2022, Apple released the current iPhone SE, which has a Qualcomm Snapdragon X57 processor for 5G at sub-6GHz. The smartphone has a 4.7-inch touchscreen with Touch ID and a Home button. The forthcoming model is anticipated to have Face ID capability from the firm. In the meanwhile, Apple just made the iOS 16.4 update available for iPhones. For the older iPhone and iPad models, the tech giant has now started releasing iOS 16.7.5 and iPadOS 15.7.5 upgrades.
The corporation asserts that the most recent version fixed two vulnerabilities that may have been used against it. Apple hasn’t provided any information about the issues, though. Apple stated that it does not reveal, discuss, or confirm security problems until after an investigation has taken place and updates or releases are ready.
