M2 Macs Spotted Ahead Of 2023 Launch

Apple is presently working on its upcoming launch event, when it plans to introduce new M2 Macs, after a successful 2022. According to recent rumors, the Cupertino-based tech giant will introduce two new Macs equipped with M2 Pro and M2 Max chipsets.

Although the launch is scheduled for 2023, two new M2 Macs from Apple have suddenly turned up in Steam’s hardware database. The database contains a list of the devices and applications used to access Steam games. Users reportedly discovered “Mac14,6” and “Mac15,4”, which were featured in Steam’s November 2022 survey list, according to a MacRumors article.

M2 Macs Found In New Database 

Both of the unannounced M2 Macs in the Steam database showed 0% usage, indicating that they are still in the testing stage. The forthcoming MacBook Pro models from Apple will be available in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes and could have the company’s M2 Pro and M2 Max processors. Since the 13-inch MacBook Pro has featured the M2 chip, almost every computer fan is already aware of its capabilities and specifications. So it will be interesting to watch how the next 14-inch and 16-inch Apple MacBook models work with the M2 Pro chip.

The new M2 Macs devices were supposed to debut this fall, but Apple ultimately decided to wait until 2023. Apple is also developing the Mac Studio, Mac Pro, and Mac mini in addition to the next MacBooks. Additionally, recent rumors imply that the gadget will resemble the iPhone XR in appearance.
