The WWDC is just around the corner in which we will see all the news of the new operating systems that Apple is preparing. And at the end of summer, with the arrival of the month of Septemberwe will have a new appointment in the Apple Park where we will know the news of the upcoming iPhone 15. It’s all speculation right now. A few hours ago a new leak was published that pointed to the arrival of a 48-megapixel camera, as in the Pro models, to the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, Apple’s more “standard” models.
The 48 megapixels of the Pro models will reach the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus
The iPhone 14 and all its different models are the latest mobile terminals presented by Apple in September 2022. Let’s remember that the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus have two cameras: the main one, with a 12-megapixel sensor and optical stabilization by sensor displacement; and an ultra-wide, with a 12-megapixel sensor and a 120-degree field of view. However, Pro models have an extra camera, but all of them are different from previous models: a main one with a 48-megapixel sensor, an ultra-wide with a 12-megapixel sensor, and a telephoto lens with a 12-megapixel sensor with the possibility of 2x and 3x magnification.
It is rumored again with Periscope lenses and optical zoom up to 6x on the iPhone 15 Pro Max
A new leak published a few hours ago by an analyst from the investment firm Hong Kong Haitong International Securities suggests that the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus would have a camera with a 48-megapixel sensor, more similar to the main camera of the Pro and Pro Max. This camera would release a new technology in the three-layer sensor capable of increase the capacity of captured light thus improving the result of the photographs and their quality. But MacRumors ensures that this new sensor will cause problems in the supply chain and could cause delays in the production of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.
With this move, Apple would try to bring the most standard models of your iPhone 15 closer to the quality of the more Pro models making sure that the latter still have star features that allow users who purchase them to have exclusive functions. As always, and once again, this is all guesswork and leaks that may get closer to the final result… but we won’t know for sure until September.
