A large capacity external battery is still a guarantee for when you are going to be away from home and want to keep your devices running for long hours. We tested the new Trust Primo 20,000, with enough capacity to spend several days without plugs.

design and features
The size of the Trust Primo 20,000 external battery is similar to that of an iPhone 14 Pro Max, although thicker. It is not a battery to carry in your pants pocket, but rather to carry it in your backpack, bag or suitcase. The plastic cover is very strong and has a good grip, and has a very discreet design with the same color throughout the surface (in this case blue, also available in black and green) and the Trust logo that hardly stands out. We find a button on one side to turn on the battery and see the remaining charge on the LEDs on the opposite side. The connection ports are all on one side, with two USB-A ports with charging power up to 12W and one USB-C with power up to 15W. The three ports can be used at the same time, although the power will be distributed among three of them. We also find a microUSB to recharge the battery, although we can also use USB-C as an input to recharge it. In the box we find a USB-A to microUSB cable, we miss a USB-C, a connection that at this point is already widespread enough to completely replace microUSB.
It is a conventional design, but it is still the most practical design to transport and use an external battery of this size. The large surface allows for good heat dissipation when using or charging, and the ports are all positioned on the same side which is always handy. The use of the battery is what you can expect from a quality product with the security measures that one expects when recharging their devices. The battery heats up in a totally reasonable way when using it, and the recharging of your devices is carried out in a stable way, without surprises. If you want to use the fastest and most powerful charge, you must use the USB-C port, although it does not reach the 18W that fast charging of the iPhone requires. The battery controls the power output based on the device you connectso you can recharge AirPods, Apple Watch, iPad or iPhone without fear of too high power reaching it.
Editor’s Opinion
Despite the fact that small and magnetic batteries for our iPhone are now in fashion, having a large capacity battery is life insurance when one is going to be away from home for several days without knowing if a plug will be available for long enough enough to recharge all your devices. With its 20,000 mAh, this Trust Primo can recharge your iPhone for several days, or your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and AirPods without any problem. Good materials, security measures and reliability are the characteristics of this external battery with a price that is also more than adjusted. You can buy it on Amazon for €39.99 (link)
