Truth Social App Was Released On Monday

Truth Social, the new social media venture of Donald Trump, has already seen itself be launched in the App Store of Apple on Monday. This has been brought to light through posts from an executive on a test version that was viewed by experts from Reuters. This potentially marks the return of the former President of the United State to social media on the U.S. Presidents Day holiday.

Trump’s Truth Social Has Found Itself On The Apple App Store

In a bunch of posts that were made on Friday, a verified handle for the chief product officer of Truth Social- who was listed as Billy B.- went ahead and answered quite a few questions on the app from people who were invited to use the app during its testing phase. One of the users had asked him when the app would be available for beta testers, the spokesperson stated that the company had set up a date of release on the 21st of February- so as one can see, the app has already been launched on the Apple App Store.

The launch of Truth Social would definitely launch the presence of Trump on social media after a year after he was banned from YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter, following the US Capitol Riots that took place on the 6th of January 2021. It was accused that the former President had been posting messages on these social media platforms that were simply inciting violence. On the 15th of February, the eldest son of Donald Trump posted a picture on Twitter of a screenshot of his father’s verified account on the new social media platform.

The venture behind Truth Social will soon join an ever-increasing group of portfolios of technology companies that would be positioning themselves as the true bastion of free speech. This social media platform would also help those users who believe that their views are being suppressed on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
