WhatsApp For iOS Will Limit The Number Of Messages A User Can Forward

After three years of limiting the number of messages a user can forward in Brazil, WhatsApp has been thinking of expanding globally. The function, which is currently in its beta state, will surely be released through an update in the future. But there are certain things one needs to know about this. As reported by WABetaInfo, this forward limit is a currency available with the beta version of 22.7.0.76 of the app for iOS. Through this update, the app will finally start limiting the number of forwarded messages that a user could send to prevent misinformation and spam.

WhatsApp Will Bring Out Features To Limit Misinformation

Currently, the WhatsApp feature is only available for those messages which have been forwarded. In the event that you are the owner of the message, you would be able to send it as many times as you want. With this limitation in place, the users of the app will only be able to forward a single message at one time. In Brazil- where it was first brought out the app can also differentiate between a message that has been forwarded once and a message that has been forwarded a few times.

Also, it has been reported that WhatsApp would be looking toward replacing the camera tab with the Communities one. The Communities aim at being the perfect place where most group admins would find themselves with more control over the several groups that exist on the platform. Last December, the company stated that it was currently more like a group chat and not as a social network. So, this was still a private place between people that were protected through encryption.

Both of the WhatsApp features will find themselves available in an update in the future.
